Struct ColumnDef

pub struct ColumnDef {
    pub name: NameId,

    pub deferred_failure: Option<&'static str>,
}
Expand description

One column of a CREATE TABLE.

Fields§

§name: NameId

The column name.

§declared_type: Option<Vec<u8>>

The declared type, exactly as written, when there was one.

§constraints: Vec<(Option<NameId>, ColumnConstraint)>

The constraints, in written order, each with its optional name.

§span: Span

The span of the definition.

§deferred_failure: Option<&'static str>

A reason SQLite refuses the definition only after it has changed the schema, set when the definition is read for ALTER TABLE ... ADD COLUMN.

For example subqueries prohibited in CHECK constraints. The failure is reported when the statement runs, as SQLite reports it, and not when it is compiled.
