Errors that may occur when interacting with the milter API.

These errors are not expected to occur in most testing scenarios, and can be unwrapped.

Variants

MilterUsage

The MTA/milter interface is being misused, for example NO_HELO was negotiated, but helo is being called. Or, the body callback returned Skip, but is then called again.

InvalidReply

The milter responded with an inappropriate reply. This could be due to incorrect callback code in the milter under test, or even to a broken milter protocol implementation.

Io(Error)

An I/O error.
