Enum StepError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum StepError { NotStep(String), Syntax { offset: usize, detail: String, }, MissingEntityId { offset: usize, }, NonFiniteReal { entity: EntityId, slot: usize, }, Io(String), }
Expand description

Failures specific to reading or writing IFC STEP text.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

NotStep(String)

The bytes do not begin with the ISO-10303-21 magic.

§

Syntax

Malformed syntax at a known byte offset.

Fields

§offset: usize

Byte offset into the source.

§detail: String

What went wrong.

§

MissingEntityId

A record in the DATA section had no #id= prefix.

Fields

§offset: usize

Byte offset into the source.

§

NonFiniteReal

The model contains a REAL value Part 21 cannot represent.

Fields

§entity: EntityId

Entity containing the value.

§slot: usize

Top-level positional attribute containing the value.

§

Io(String)

Underlying I/O failure.
