Expand description

Why a spatial record was refused.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Invalid

A value the schema constrains was not acceptable.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

The entity being authored.

§attribute: &'static str

The attribute at fault.

§value: String

What was supplied.

§

MultipleSchemas

The model’s header declares several schemas; release-bound authoring binds to exactly one.

Fields

§schemas: usize

Number of FILE_SCHEMA declarations.

§

UnsupportedSchema

The model’s header declares one schema with no bundled table, so no layout can be trusted.

Fields

§schema: String

The FILE_SCHEMA token as written.

§

EntityNotInSchema

The model’s release does not declare this entity, such as IfcRelDeclares in IFC2X3 or IfcRelPositions outside IFC4X3.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

The entity being authored.

§schema: SchemaVersion

The release the model declares.

§

AuthoringNotInSchema

A value for an attribute the release does not declare. It is refused rather than dropped.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

The entity being authored.

§attribute: &'static str

The attribute, by its IFC4 name.

§schema: SchemaVersion

The release the model declares.

§

AuthoringValueType

A value the release’s declaration of the attribute cannot hold, such as an IFC4 enumeration token IFC2X3 does not declare.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

The entity being authored.

§attribute: &'static str

The attribute, by its IFC4 name.

§declared: &'static str

The type the release declares.

§schema: SchemaVersion

The release the model declares.

§

AuthoringRequired

The release requires an attribute the call leaves unset, such as the IFC2X3 IfcRoot.OwnerHistory (#202). It is refused rather than written as $; the *_with_owner_history writers take the IfcOwnerHistory IFC2X3 needs.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

The entity being authored.

§attribute: &'static str

The attribute, by the release’s own name.

§schema: SchemaVersion

The release the model declares.

§

MissingReference

A reference names an entity neither in the model nor staged.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

The entity being authored.

§attribute: &'static str

The reference attribute.

§target: EntityId

The missing entity.

§

WrongReferenceType

A reference names an entity of a type the release does not accept there, such as an OwnerHistory that is not an IfcOwnerHistory.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

The entity being authored.

§attribute: &'static str

The reference attribute.

§target: EntityId

The referenced entity.

§actual: String

Its type.

§expected: &'static str

The type expected.
