Why an occurrence was refused.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

MalformedGuid

GlobalId did not parse as a 22-character IFC GUID.

Fields

§value: String

The offending value.

§

UnknownPredefinedType

The token is not a member of this class’s own enum.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

STEP class.

§token: String

The offending token.

§

NoPredefinedType

The class has no PredefinedType attribute at all.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

STEP class.

§

UserDefinedWithoutObjectType

USERDEFINED was given without an ObjectType naming it.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

STEP class.

§

WrongTypeClass

The occurrence was typed by a class the schema does not pair with it.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

STEP class of the occurrence.

§expected: &'static str

The only class CorrectTypeAssigned permits.

§found: String

What the referenced entity actually is.

§

TypingNotPermitted

The class permits no type at all, but one was supplied.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

STEP class.

§

UnresolvedType

The typed-by reference does not resolve in the model.

Fields

§id: EntityId

The dangling id.

§

MultipleSchemas

The model’s header declares several schemas; authoring binds to exactly one release.

Fields

§schemas: usize

Number of FILE_SCHEMA declarations.

§

UnsupportedSchema

The model’s header declares one schema with no bundled table, so no layout can be trusted.

Fields

§schema: String

The FILE_SCHEMA token as written.

§

EntityNotInSchema

The model’s release does not declare the class, or declares it abstract, such as IfcBorehole (IFC4X3 only) in an IFC4 model.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

STEP class.

§schema: SchemaVersion

The release the model declares.

§

AuthoringNotInSchema

A value for an attribute the model’s release does not declare. It is refused rather than dropped.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

STEP class.

§attribute: &'static str

The attribute.

§schema: SchemaVersion

The release the model declares.

§

AuthoringRequired

The model’s release requires an attribute the call leaves unset, such as the IFC2X3 IfcRoot.OwnerHistory.

Fields

§entity: &'static str

STEP class.

§attribute: &'static str

The required attribute, as the release names it.

§schema: SchemaVersion

The release the model declares.

§

UnresolvedOwnerHistory

The owner-history reference resolves neither in the model nor on the transaction.

Fields

§id: EntityId

The dangling id.

§

NotAnOwnerHistory

The owner-history reference is not an IfcOwnerHistory.

Fields

§id: EntityId

The referenced id.

§found: String

What the referenced entity actually is.
