pub struct SubMesh {
pub geometry_id: u32,
pub mesh: Mesh,
pub uvs: Option<Vec<f32>>,
pub texture: Option<TextureAttachment>,
}Expand description
A sub-mesh with its source geometry item ID. Used to track which geometry items contribute to an element’s mesh, allowing per-item color/style lookup.
Fields§
§geometry_id: u32The geometry item ID (e.g., IfcFacetedBrep ID) for style lookup
mesh: MeshThe triangulated mesh data
uvs: Option<Vec<f32>>Per-vertex texture coordinates (u, v pairs, 1:1 with mesh.positions),
present only for textured face sets (#1781). Downstream index-only edits
(winding orientation, degenerate-triangle drops) and rigid transforms
keep them aligned; anything that rebuilds vertices must drop them.
texture: Option<TextureAttachment>The surface texture sampled by uvs (#1781).
