pub struct FixedReferenceSweptAreaSolid<'m> { /* private fields */ }Expand description
IfcFixedReferenceSweptAreaSolid: a sweep whose section orientation is
pinned to a constant direction.
Unlike a Frenet sweep, the profile’s frame is derived from a fixed direction rather than the curve’s own normal. That is exactly what keeps a road cross section upright over a crest; substituting a Frenet frame rolls the section with the curve’s torsion.
Implementations§
Source§impl<'m> FixedReferenceSweptAreaSolid<'m>
impl<'m> FixedReferenceSweptAreaSolid<'m>
Sourcepub fn new(id: EntityId, entity: &'m Entity) -> Self
pub fn new(id: EntityId, entity: &'m Entity) -> Self
Wrap an entity assumed to be an IfcFixedReferenceSweptAreaSolid.
Sourcepub fn base(&self) -> SweptAreaSolid<'m>
pub fn base(&self) -> SweptAreaSolid<'m>
The inherited IfcSweptAreaSolid attributes.
Sourcepub fn directrix(&self) -> GeometryResult<EntityId>
pub fn directrix(&self) -> GeometryResult<EntityId>
The IfcCurve reference the profile follows.
Sourcepub fn start_param(&self) -> GeometryResult<Option<TrimMeasure>>
pub fn start_param(&self) -> GeometryResult<Option<TrimMeasure>>
Where the sweep starts, if trimmed, and whether the file states it as a curve parameter or (IFC4X3) a length along the directrix.
§Errors
GeometryError::WrongValueKind
for a value that is neither a number nor an IfcCurveMeasureSelect
member.
Sourcepub fn end_param(&self) -> GeometryResult<Option<TrimMeasure>>
pub fn end_param(&self) -> GeometryResult<Option<TrimMeasure>>
Sourcepub fn fixed_reference(&self) -> GeometryResult<EntityId>
pub fn fixed_reference(&self) -> GeometryResult<EntityId>
The IfcDirection reference that fixes the section’s orientation.
