AlertDialog

Struct AlertDialog

Source
pub struct AlertDialog<'a, Message> { /* private fields */ }
Available on crate feature dialog only.
Expand description

A confirmation that needs an explicit answer: a clicked scrim does nothing, there is no close button, and the footer holds Cancel and a destructive action.

Keyboard users reach both buttons with Tab and Shift+Tab, which ring the focused one, and press it with Enter or Space. Nothing is focused when the dialog opens, so a stray Enter does nothing unless confirm_on_enter is on; Escape cancels.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'a, Message> AlertDialog<'a, Message>

Source

pub fn open(self, open: bool) -> Self

Source

pub fn cancel(self, label: impl IntoFragment<'a>) -> Self

The label of the cancel button.

Source

pub fn confirm(self, label: impl IntoFragment<'a>) -> Self

The label of the destructive button, such as “Delete”.

Source

pub fn on_cancel(self, message: Message) -> Self

Emitted by the cancel button and by Escape.

Source

pub fn on_confirm(self, message: Message) -> Self

Emitted by the destructive button, and by Enter when confirm_on_enter is on.

Source

pub fn confirm_on_enter(self, confirm: bool) -> Self

Whether Enter (Action::Confirm) runs the destructive action while no button is focused. Defaults to false, so a stray Enter never destroys anything; keyboard users Tab to the button and press Enter or Space instead.

Source

pub fn dismiss_on_escape(self, dismiss: bool) -> Self

Whether Escape cancels. Defaults to true.

Source

pub fn size(self, size: Size) -> Self

Source

pub fn keymap(self, keymap: Keymap<Action>) -> Self

Replaces the default shortcuts.

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
