TimerCounters

Struct TimerCounters

Source
pub struct TimerCounters { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Registration-local timer event counters.

Metrics owns arithmetic and actual-overflow tracking; the registry is the sole writer of these named events. Completed work merges its four classified outcomes. Getters return inert copies, not mutation authority.

Check the parent snapshot’s full registration identity before using MeasurementCounter::delta_since; epoch equality alone does not prove continuity. Use checked counter operations rather than inferring overflow from a numeric cap: an exact u128::MAX remains distinguishable from overflow.

Implementations§

Source§

impl TimerCounters

Source

pub const fn schedule_requests(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return validated activation and reconciliation requests.

Source

pub const fn wakeups_armed(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return ordinary or scheduler provider one-shots armed.

Source

pub const fn work_dispatched(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return immediate watchdog work one-shots dispatched.

Source

pub const fn scheduler_started(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return accepted watchdog scheduler callbacks.

Source

pub const fn work_started(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return accepted consumer-work callbacks.

Source

pub const fn work_completed(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return consumer work whose completion accounting committed.

Merge the four classified counters, preserving actual-overflow quality.

Source

pub const fn succeeded(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return successful-work completions.

Source

pub const fn no_work(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return valid no-work completions.

Source

pub const fn retryable_failure(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return retryable expected-failure completions.

Source

pub const fn invariant_failure(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return invariant or terminal-failure completions.

Source

pub const fn cancelled(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return logical cancellations that changed authoritative state.

Source

pub const fn stale_wakeups(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return rejected ordinary or scheduler callback generations.

Source

pub const fn stale_work(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return rejected watchdog work generations.

Source

pub const fn coalesced(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return scheduling demand satisfied without another logical arm.

Source

pub const fn unacknowledged(self) -> MeasurementCounter

Return confirmed ordinary deliveries dropped without completion and committed Watchdog dispatches retired by their successor without completion.
