PolicyIdentity

Host-issued token binding one prepared runtime bootstrap policy configuration.

All 32-byte values are valid. Hosts choose a stable token and change it when policy semantics or effective configuration change. Names, versions, hashing and fallible configuration preparation stay with the host. The token is an equality binding, not authentication or proof that a policy is correct. It is retained in memory and serialized for diagnostics, never persisted in the allocation ledger. Diagnostic JSON contains a 32-element byte array.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PolicyIdentity

Source

pub const fn new(bytes: [u8; 32]) -> Self

Construct a token from the host’s complete policy identity bytes.

Source

pub const fn as_bytes(&self) -> &[u8; 32]

Borrow the exact identity bytes used for equality and diagnostics.
