VersionSpec

Struct VersionSpec

Source
pub struct VersionSpec<'a> {
    pub executable: &'a Path,
    pub executable_bytes: u64,
    pub version_arguments: &'a [OsString],
    pub version_identity: &'a str,
}
Expand description

Exact version authority for a caller-trusted installed executable.

Unlike ToolSpec, this supplies no trusted executable digest. Admission records the installed bytes for later drift checks; a matching version is not authentication of those bytes. Consumers own installation provenance.

Fields§

§executable: &'a Path

Absolute path in a caller-controlled filesystem; no PATH search occurs.

§executable_bytes: u64

Maximum executable bytes read during admission and every later run.

§version_arguments: &'a [OsString]

Exact argument vector used to observe version identity.

§version_identity: &'a str

Required UTF-8 stdout after Unicode whitespace is trimmed at both ends.
