OutputLimit

Enum OutputLimit

Source
pub enum OutputLimit {
    Terminate(usize),
    Truncate(usize),
}
Expand description

Retention and overflow behavior for one output stream.

Variants§

§

Terminate(usize)

Retain at most this many bytes; excess output fails and cleans up the child.

§

Truncate(usize)

Retain this prefix, drain the rest, and report every byte to an observer. Truncation is recorded in evidence, without failing the command.

Implementations§

Source§

impl OutputLimit

Source

pub const fn retained_bytes(self) -> usize

Maximum retained bytes, independently of overflow behavior.
