Expand description

Structured failure from a cacheable Wasm build.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

InvalidSpec

The caller supplied an incomplete or inconsistent specification.

Fields

§message: String

Diagnostic describing the rejected input or evidence.

§

Io

A filesystem operation failed.

Fields

§operation: &'static str

Filesystem or process operation that failed.

§path: PathBuf

Exact path involved in the failed operation.

§source: Error

Original underlying error, including its typed failure evidence.

§

CommandSpawn

An external command could not be launched.

Fields

§phase: WasmBuildPhase

Build phase in which the command failed.

§program: OsString

Selected executable that could not be launched.

§source: Error

Original underlying error, including its typed failure evidence.

§

CommandFailed

An external command completed unsuccessfully. Cargo-build streams retain at most 1 MiB of raw bytes each, with an explicit marker if truncated; optional progress callbacks still receive all output.

Fields

§phase: WasmBuildPhase

Build phase in which the command failed.

§status: ExitStatus

Original child exit status.

§stdout: String

Retained standard output from the original Cargo invocation.

§stderr: String

Retained standard error from the original Cargo invocation.

§

InvalidMetadata

Cargo metadata did not contain the expected package graph.

Fields

§message: String

Diagnostic describing the rejected input or evidence.

§

InvalidCargoConfiguration

A discovered Cargo configuration could not be interpreted exactly.

Fields

§path: PathBuf

Exact path involved in the failed operation.

§message: String

Diagnostic describing the unsupported or malformed Cargo configuration.

§

MissingArtifacts

Cargo succeeded without producing every declared Wasm artifact.

Fields

§paths: Vec<PathBuf>

Expected artifact paths that were not produced.

§

InputsChangedDuringAcquisition

Declared inputs changed while acquiring or building Wasm artifacts.

Fields

§before: InputDigest

Input identity captured before the operation.

§after: InputDigest

Input identity observed during revalidation.

§

PreparedInputSnapshotInvalidated

Another concurrent reader invalidated the prepared input snapshot before publication.

§

FailedBuildCleanup

A build failed and its incomplete fingerprint directory could not be removed.

Fields

§build_error: Box<Self>

Original build failure before cleanup was attempted.

§path: PathBuf

Exact path involved in the failed operation.

§source: Error

Original underlying error, including its typed failure evidence.
