Enum PublicationError

pub enum PublicationError {
    Producer {

    },
    BeforePublication {
        source: Error,
        cleanup_error: Option<Error>,
    },
    AfterPublication {

    },
}
Expand description

File publication failure with explicit visibility and retained cleanup evidence.

AfterPublication means the new output is visible, but final durability is uncertain; callers must reconcile it before considering another write.

Variants§

§

Producer

The staged producer failed before publication was attempted.

Fields

§source: Error

Original producer failure.

§cleanup_error: Option<Error>

Failure to clean up the still-owned staging entry, if any.

§

BeforePublication

Admission, synchronization, or rename failed before publication.

Fields

§source: Error

Original filesystem failure.

§cleanup_error: Option<Error>

Failure to clean up the still-owned staging entry, if any.

§

AfterPublication

The new output is visible, but cleanup or final directory sync failed.

Fields

§source: Error

Original completion failure.
