Variants

Ended

TWS sent the end marker: the request is over at TWS.

Rejected(Notice)

TWS answered with an error for the request. For request types whose errors aren’t known to end the request at TWS, the drop still writes the cancel.

Unconfirmed

No terminal evidence: the deadline passed, or the stream had already ended with an error on our side (such as a buffer overflow), after which TWS’s state can’t be observed. Treat the request id as possibly still live.
