MarketDepths

Enum MarketDepths

Source
pub enum MarketDepths {
    MarketDepth(MarketDepth),
    MarketDepthL2(MarketDepthL2),
    Reset,
}
Expand description

Market depth data types.

Apply MarketDepth / MarketDepthL2 rows to the book you hold; on Reset, drop every row first. The stream stays open through a reset. Code 316 (“Market depth data has been HALTED”) is terminal: the stream ends with Err, and the caller re-subscribes.

Variants§

§

MarketDepth(MarketDepth)

Level-1 depth update.

§

MarketDepthL2(MarketDepthL2)

Level-2 (per exchange/MPID) depth update.

§

Reset

TWS discarded the book on its side (code 317, “Market depth data has been RESET”): empty every row held, then rebuild from the updates that follow. Delivered as data so it survives filter_data / iter_data.
