Expand description

Action (RPC-style) endpoint mapping.

Used for endpoints like /uid-generate-token, /encrypt, and similar one-shot calls that don’t fit present/absent semantics. Encoded under the [action] table in an action TOML.

Fields§

§endpoint: String

API path (e.g. /uid-generate-token).

§schema: String

Request schema (camelCase, OpenAPI form — e.g. uidGenerateToken).

§response_schema: Option<String>

Optional response schema name. When None, generated modules echo the raw response dict back to the caller.

§mutating: Option<bool>

Whether the action mutates server state. Defaults to true when not specified; list/get-style ops should set false.

§sensitive_response_fields: Vec<String>

Response fields to mask (***) before echoing back to Ansible. Useful for token, ciphertext, private_key, etc.

§sdk_method: Option<String>

Optional SDK method-name override.

Some endpoints (like /encrypt-batch) reuse a request body schema (BatchEncryptionRequestLine) that doesn’t match the SDK method derived from the schema name. Set this to the actual SDK method (e.g. "encrypt_batch") to bypass the schema-based derivation.
