Interval

Struct Interval

Source
pub struct Interval { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

An interval value.

Hyper stores intervals as a 128-bit packed value with:

  • microseconds (i64): time component
  • days (i32): day component
  • months (i32): month component

Implementations§

Source§

impl Interval

Source

pub const fn new(months: i32, days: i32, microseconds: i64) -> Interval

Creates an Interval from components.

Source

pub const fn from_years(years: i32) -> Interval

Creates an Interval from years.

Source

pub const fn from_months(months: i32) -> Interval

Creates an Interval from months.

Source

pub const fn from_days(days: i32) -> Interval

Creates an Interval from days.

Source

pub const fn from_hours(hours: i64) -> Interval

Creates an Interval from hours.

Source

pub const fn from_minutes(minutes: i64) -> Interval

Creates an Interval from minutes.

Source

pub const fn from_seconds(seconds: i64) -> Interval

Creates an Interval from seconds.

Source

pub const fn from_microseconds(microseconds: i64) -> Interval

Creates an Interval from microseconds.

Source

pub const fn months(&self) -> i32

Returns the months component.

Source

pub const fn days(&self) -> i32

Returns the days component.

Source

pub const fn microseconds(&self) -> i64

Returns the microseconds component.

Source

pub fn encode(&self) -> [u8; 16]

Encodes the interval as a 128-bit value for HyperBinary.

Layout: [microseconds: i64 LE][days: i32 LE][months: i32 LE]

Source

pub fn decode(buf: &[u8; 16]) -> Interval

Decodes an interval from a 128-bit value.

Source

pub fn to_packed(&self) -> [u8; 16]

Returns the packed 128-bit representation for insertion.

This is an alias for encode() for API consistency.
