Expand description

Result of a write on Table, shared by every write verb.

Fields§

§requested_time: Option<String>

Requested time of the completed commit’s instant, or None when the write matched nothing and made no commit.

§completion_time: Option<String>

Completion time of the instant on timeline layout v2, which is what an incremental read’s start bound is compared against on that layout. None on layout v1 and when no commit was written.

§num_writes: usize

Rows in the data files this write produced: every row of each base file it wrote, or each row appended to a merge-on-read log (deletes append none).

§num_updates: usize

Number of input keys that replaced existing rows.

§num_inserts: usize

Number of input keys not previously present. An append looks up no keys and counts every row.

§num_deletes: usize

Number of rows deleted.
