DependencyJson

Struct DependencyJson

Source
pub struct DependencyJson {
    pub file: String,
    pub required_by: String,
    pub origin: Option<String>,
}
Expand description

What a dependency’s diagnostic carries besides its text: the file that required it and where the file lives. Stored with the diagnostic (Recorded) so a replay says exactly what the run said, and decides the same way whether to say it.

Fields§

§file: String

The file the error is in, as the checker found it.

§required_by: String

The file whose require pulled it in — which is the one the reader is looking at, and so the one a message about somebody else’s file has to name.

§origin: Option<String>

dependency / external, or none for a file of the project’s own.
