Expand description

A runtime, validation, provisioning or compiler failure.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Busy(String)

A mapped allocation or exhausted prepared run capacity prevents submission.

§

Unsupported(String)

Hardware or the selected native runtime cannot provide a requested capability.

§

DeviceLost(String)

A device failure left memory contents or completion uncertain.

§

Backend

A native backend failure with its original status code.

Fields

§backend: &'static str

Native backend name.

§operation: &'static str

Operation that failed.

§code: i32

Native status or command state.

§message: Box<str>

Native diagnostic text. A boxed slice keeps the success-path Result layout within the pre-existing native error size.

§

Execution

A retained asynchronous failure, shared by completion observers.

Fields

§source: Arc<Error>

Original structured failure, including backend and node context.

§

Cancelled

Work was cancelled before completion.

§

Message(String)

Invalid input or a contextual diagnostic.

§

Compile

Structured diagnostics from a failed Loom compiler invocation.

Fields

§message: String

Rendered diagnostic summary.

§diagnostics: Vec<Diagnostic>

Complete structured diagnostics.

§report: Option<Box<Value>>

Compiler report produced before failure, when requested and available.

§

Io(Error)

An operating-system failure, preserving its error kind and source.

§

Json(Error)

Invalid JSON, preserving the parser’s location and source.

§

Library(Error)

A dynamic library or symbol could not be loaded.

§

Download(Box<Error>)

A network provisioning failure.

§

Runtime

Legacy native status retained for source compatibility. The native 0.8 runtime reports structured errors through other variants.

Fields

§context: String

Operation that failed.

§code: i32

Native HRX status code.

§message: String

Owned native status message.

§

Context

Adds context while preserving an underlying failure.

Fields

§context: String

Operation that failed.

§source: Box<Error>

Underlying failure.

Implementations§
