LeBool

Struct LeBool

Source
pub struct LeBool(/* private fields */);
Expand description

Boolean wire type. Alignment 1.

Stored as a single byte: 0 = false, nonzero = true. is_valid() returns true only for 0 or 1, catching corrupted data that other frameworks would silently accept.

Implementations§

Source§

impl LeBool

Source

pub const TRUE: LeBool

Canonical true value.

Source

pub const FALSE: LeBool

Canonical false value.

Source

pub const fn new(v: bool) -> LeBool

Construct from a Rust bool.

Source

pub const fn get(self) -> bool

Read as a Rust bool (0 = false, anything else = true).

Source

pub const fn raw(self) -> u8

Raw byte value.

Source

pub const fn is_canonical(self) -> bool

Whether the byte is strictly 0 or 1 (canonical representation).

Non-canonical values (2..=255) are technically “true” but may indicate data corruption or an incompatible writer.
