CollapseObjective

Enum CollapseObjective

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum CollapseObjective { H1, H2, }
Expand description

The downstream work an adaptive collapse schedule targets.

In each pass, H1 favors removals that destroy more triangles. H2 first favors removals that destroy more tetrahedra, then uses the triangle count as a tie breaker. Each planned removal is tested again against the current graph. The score guides the order only. Every removal passes the same filtration-wide predicate.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

H1

Target the cofacets used most directly by an H1 computation.

§

H2

Target H2 cofacets, then H1 cofacets.
