RootResolutionState

Enum RootResolutionState

Source
pub enum RootResolutionState {
    Present,
    Absent,
    Failed(RootFailure),
}
Expand description

Bounded diagnostic state retained when dual-root classification fails.

Successful lookups are reduced to a copyable disposition so an error never duplicates a validated origin plan or authenticated-absence proof. Failed lookups retain their typed RootFailure for safe, root-specific diagnostics and retry policy.

Variants§

§

Present

The complete origin had a validated resolution plan.

§

Absent

The complete origin was authentically absent or had no usable endpoint.

§

Failed(RootFailure)

The lookup failed and classification remained indeterminate.

Implementations§

Source§

impl RootResolutionState

Source

pub const fn disposition(&self) -> RootResolutionDisposition

Returns the copyable lookup disposition.

Source

pub const fn failure(&self) -> Option<&RootFailure>

Returns the typed root failure, if this lookup failed.

Source

pub const fn is_failed(&self) -> bool

Reports whether this lookup failed.
