Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

NameAlreadyRegistered(Name)

A service with the same instance name is already registered.

StorageFull

The proto service pool is full.

DriverGone

The driver task is no longer running.

Other(String)

A future, currently-unknown variant of ProtoRegisterError that the conversion arm did not recognise. The wrapped string is the proto error’s Display output so callers can still log it meaningfully.

Reachable only if mdns-proto grows a new RegisterServiceError variant before this crate is updated to map it explicitly.
