pub struct Label { /* private fields */ }Expand description
HeroUI Label — slot="label".
Mirrors the React API: isRequired, isDisabled, isInvalid. The
htmlFor prop has no gpui analogue (there is no DOM id graph), so labels
are associated by composition instead.
Implementations§
Source§impl Label
impl Label
Sourcepub fn new(text: impl Into<SharedString>) -> Self
pub fn new(text: impl Into<SharedString>) -> Self
Creates a label with the given text.
Sourcepub fn label_for(self, id: impl Into<ElementId>, handle: FocusHandle) -> Self
pub fn label_for(self, id: impl Into<ElementId>, handle: FocusHandle) -> Self
htmlFor — associates the label with a field.
In HTML this is an id reference; here it is the field’s focus handle,
which is what makes the association do the one thing it does visibly:
clicking the label focuses the field. Pass a distinct id per label so
the click target has one.
Sourcepub fn is_required(self, v: bool) -> Self
pub fn is_required(self, v: bool) -> Self
Sets the required state (v3 isRequired).
Sourcepub fn is_disabled(self, v: bool) -> Self
pub fn is_disabled(self, v: bool) -> Self
Sets the disabled state (v3 isDisabled).
Sourcepub fn is_invalid(self, v: bool) -> Self
pub fn is_invalid(self, v: bool) -> Self
Sets the invalid state (v3 isInvalid).
Trait Implementations§
Source§impl Disableable for Label
impl Disableable for Label
Source§fn is_disabled(self, disabled: bool) -> Self
fn is_disabled(self, disabled: bool) -> Self
isDisabled — whether the component is disabled.Source§impl IntoElement for Label
impl IntoElement for Label
Source§type Element = ViewElement<Label>
type Element = ViewElement<Label>
The specific type of element into which the implementing type is converted.
Useful for converting other types into elements automatically, like Strings
Source§fn into_element(self) -> Self::Element
fn into_element(self) -> Self::Element
Convert self into a type that implements
Element.Source§fn into_any_element(self) -> AnyElement
fn into_any_element(self) -> AnyElement
Convert self into a dynamically-typed
AnyElement.Source§impl RenderOnce for Label
impl RenderOnce for Label
Source§fn render(self, _window: &mut Window, cx: &mut App) -> impl IntoElement
fn render(self, _window: &mut Window, cx: &mut App) -> impl IntoElement
Render this component into an element tree. Note that this method
takes ownership of self, as compared to
Render::render() method
which takes a mutable reference.Auto Trait Implementations§
