Word segmentation.

Variants§

§

Icu

ICU4X word segmentation: dictionary words for Chinese and Japanese (with their bigrams as variants), LSTM word breaks for Thai, Lao, Khmer and Burmese, UAX #29 for everything else.

§

Unicode

UAX #29 word boundaries (float-zero → float, zero; p53, co2 and 10.1007 stay whole) and character bigrams over runs of Han, Hiragana and Katakana.

§

Simple

Split on whitespace, strip every non-alphanumeric character (float-zero → floatzero, no CJK segmentation).
