Variants

Ceremony

The ceremony is unknown, used, expired, or of another kind or session: one answer for all.

Credential(String)

The authenticator’s answer is malformed or did not verify (why, for the log).

AlreadyRegistered

The credential is registered already, to this owner or another (decision 3).

Passkey

The passkey is gone: removed since the ceremony began, or not the owner’s.

CounterWentBack

The passkey’s counter did not move on: it may have been cloned (decision 6). Logged at warn with the passkey’s id, whichever check caught it (3c review, A3).

Unavailable

public_url no longer names a host (decision 1).
