pub struct Push { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Where notices go to be delivered (kernel spec §6): a queue that
delivery (plan 10b-ii) drains. Cheap to clone; notify never waits and
never fails, so a trigger can call it from any thread, async or not.
Implementations§
Source§impl Push
impl Push
Sourcepub fn detached() -> Push
pub fn detached() -> Push
A queue nobody reads: every notice is dropped. What a collector has until delivery runs, and tests that do not look.
Sourcepub fn set_guard(&self, guard: NoticeGuard)
pub fn set_guard(&self, guard: NoticeGuard)
Install the owning module’s final admission check. Delivery consults the current callback before payload construction and each transport attempt.
Sourcepub fn notify(&self, notice: Notice)
pub fn notify(&self, notice: Notice)
Queue notice for delivery. Never waits. A notice for a tag already
waiting replaces it there, keeping its place: a device shows one
notification per tag anyway. A new tag when NOTICE_QUEUE are
waiting is dropped and counted, with a warning at the first drop and
every power of two after. The log names no notice’s text.
