Variants

Scalar = 0

A complete scalar value.

PartialScalar = 1

Text contributing only part of a scalar token.

Fragment = 2

A structurally parsed YAML fragment.

Serialized = 3

A serialization transform preserves dependency provenance without exposing input shape.

YamlSerialized = 4

toYaml accepts any input shape, while the rendered YAML fragment’s structural placement can still constrain the resulting document.
