Where backups are looked for: the user’s configuration (any depth, as the dotfiles installers leave them) and the system places HelixForge’s scripts change (shallow).

Searched to any depth, skipping caches and repositories.

§home: Option<PathBuf>

The home directory itself, one level.

§system: Vec<(PathBuf, usize)>

Searched a few levels deep; restoring these needs root.
