Which accepted source revisions participate in content and symbol search. Content and symbol search index only the current source tips of each Thread (weft#2433); full-history search is planned (weft#2470).

Variants

Unspecified = 0

Current = 1

All concurrent source heads of each selected Thread. A withheld head does not fall back to an older visible revision.

Retained = 2

Reserved for full-history search (weft#2470); retained revisions are not indexed. Rejected with CALL_FAILURE_CODE_FAILED_PRECONDITION (“only Thread tips are indexed”); no results from any revision are returned.
