A parsed Git ref name: its kind, short name, and owning remote. Borrows from the input ref name. Ported from jj’s RemoteRefSymbol shape (lib/src/git.rs).

Fields

kind: GitRefKind

name: &'a str

Short name beneath the namespace, e.g. main for refs/heads/main or feature/x for refs/remotes/origin/feature/x.

remote: &'a str

Owning remote. Local refs (refs/heads/*, refs/tags/*) report REMOTE_NAME_FOR_LOCAL_GIT_REPO.
