pub struct RotationResult {
pub rotated: usize,
pub already_current: usize,
pub skipped: usize,
}Expand description
What one run of Table::rotate_cypher_keys did. Counts records, not fields: a record with
two cypher fields on a retired key is rotated once and counted once.
Fields§
§rotated: usizeRecords read, decrypted and written back under the current write key.
already_current: usizeRecords every cypher field of which was already sealed under the current write key —
left exactly as they were, which is what makes a second run free.
skipped: usizeRecords left alone because a field of theirs names a key the keyring does not hold. Only
ever non-zero under MissingKeyPolicy::Omit/MissingKeyPolicy::Raw; the default
Throw refuses the whole run instead — see Table::rotate_cypher_keys.
