Per-table overrides of Catalog.defaults, or database-wide defaults when it sits on Catalog itself. An argument passed to open() still wins over both.

link_parsing: Option<LinkParsing>

image_dir: Option<String>

Where an image field’s bytes are stored, relative to the database directory — a sibling <table>.images/ of the table’s log file when unset (table::handle::default_image_dir).
