Reject

Fail rather than silently ranking an incomplete set of declared signals. One missing signal fails the entire scored request, including OPTIONAL NULLs.

Neutral

Missing sum terms contribute zero; product terms and decays contribute one. A missing timestamp therefore receives no age penalty, like a future timestamp.
