pub struct IsoImageWriter<DATA: Read + Write + Seek> { /* private fields */ }Available on crate features
sync and write only.Expand description
Writer for creating ISO 9660 images.
Supports:
- ISO Level 1, 2, and 3
- Joliet extensions (Unicode filenames)
- Rock Ridge extensions (POSIX metadata, symlinks, devices)
- El Torito bootable images
- MBR, GPT, and Hybrid partition tables
- Multi-extent files (>4 GiB)
Implementations§
Source§impl<DATA: Read + Write + Seek> IsoImageWriter<DATA>
impl<DATA: Read + Write + Seek> IsoImageWriter<DATA>
Sourcepub fn create<T: Into<InputTree>>(
data: DATA,
files: T,
ops: IsoFormatOptions,
) -> Result<DATA>
pub fn create<T: Into<InputTree>>( data: DATA, files: T, ops: IsoFormatOptions, ) -> Result<DATA>
Creates a complete ISO image and returns its output target.
Sourcepub fn create_with_allocation_floor<T: Into<InputTree>>(
data: DATA,
files: T,
ops: IsoFormatOptions,
allocation_floor: Option<u32>,
) -> Result<DATA>
pub fn create_with_allocation_floor<T: Into<InputTree>>( data: DATA, files: T, ops: IsoFormatOptions, allocation_floor: Option<u32>, ) -> Result<DATA>
Creates an ISO image while keeping file and directory allocations at or after an optional logical-sector floor.
This is useful when composing ISO 9660 with another on-disc format whose metadata occupies sectors after the ISO volume descriptor sequence. A floor below the end of the descriptors has no effect. Volume descriptors and system-area structures retain their specification-defined locations.
Sourcepub fn into_inner(self) -> DATA
pub fn into_inner(self) -> DATA
Returns the output target.
