Fields

name: String

Full reference name.

String, not the FullName newtype that died with RefStore: the contract speaks RefRow::name: String and minting a second validated name type in gunnar is the duplication the demolition removes. What the newtype carried by construction is now a rule about the producer — see receive_pack::parse_command, which is where a client-supplied name is validated before it can reach a store.

target: Option<ObjectId>

What it resolves to, or None for an unborn HEAD.

peeled: Option<ObjectId>

The commit an annotated tag points at, when peeling was asked for.

symref_target: Option<String>

The reference a symbolic reference points at.
