pub trait FetchProgress {
// Required methods
fn objects_total(&self, objects: u32);
fn pack_bytes(&self, streamed: u64);
}Expand description
Where a transfer reports itself while it is still running.
A queue renders a percentage from Self::objects_total as the
denominator; the numerator is the ingest’s to publish, because it is the
ingest that knows how many objects it has taken in (see
FetchReport::objects_done).
Required Methods§
Sourcefn objects_total(&self, objects: u32)
fn objects_total(&self, objects: u32)
The packfile header has arrived and declares this many objects. Called exactly once per pack, before any of it reaches the ingest.
Sourcefn pack_bytes(&self, streamed: u64)
fn pack_bytes(&self, streamed: u64)
This many packfile bytes have been handed on so far. Called as the stream is consumed, never more than once per sideband packet.
Dyn Compatibility§
This trait is dyn compatible.
In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
