PeerCapabilities

Struct PeerCapabilities

Source
pub struct PeerCapabilities { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The capability set a v0 peer sent on its first line, parsed.

Values are kept as Option<String> so object-format=sha256 and a bare atomic are the same shape.

Implementations§

Source§

impl PeerCapabilities

Source

pub fn parse(text: &str) -> Self

Parse a space-separated capability string.

Leading and repeated spaces are tolerated: git’s own receive-pack client emits …\0 report-status-v2 … with a leading space, which a naive split(' ') turns into a phantom empty capability.

Source

pub fn has(&self, name: &str) -> bool

Is this capability present, with or without a value?

Source

pub fn value(&self, name: &str) -> Option<&str>

The value of name=<value>, if it was sent with one.

Source

pub fn names(&self) -> impl Iterator<Item = &str>

Every capability name, in the order sent.
