The word a transfer’s git work hears when its client is gone.

Set by serve_until_session_ends when the grace runs out, and by a transport whose serve future is dropped. The git work checks it at its safe points — every read from and write to the client, and before it opens the store — and ends there. It is never checked between the ref updates of a receive-pack transaction: those land together or not at all.

Cheap to clone; every clone is the same flag.
