ChunkFeed

Struct ChunkFeed

Source
pub struct ChunkFeed { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The LogChunk protocol, checked, for every reader of Mirror.LogFetch — the twin’s follower and gunnar control twin follow read the same stream the same way. One entry’s pieces arrive in order with the same seq, kind and blob_len, meta on the first; its bytes add up to exactly blob_len when last ends it (more is refused at the piece that overflows, less at the end); a new seq before last and a stream that ends inside an entry are both refused. Each piece goes to the FrameSink as it arrives and is dropped.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ChunkFeed

Source

pub fn take(&mut self, chunk: &LogChunk, into: &mut dyn FrameSink) -> Result<()>

One chunk off the wire.

Source

pub fn finish(&self) -> Result<()>

The stream ended: refused if it ended inside an entry.
