NewObjects

Struct NewObjects

Source
pub struct NewObjects { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The objects a merge made, in memory, in the order they must be stored (blobs and trees before the commit that names them). Ids already in the repository are skipped by the writer, not here.

Implementations§

Source§

impl NewObjects

Source

pub fn get(&self, id: &[u8]) -> Option<&(ObjType, Vec<u8>)>

One object by id, if this merge made it.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

How many objects the merge made.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether the merge made none (a fast-forward, or a result that is a side’s tree).

Source

pub fn pack( &self, hash: HashKind, git: &dyn GitServe, ) -> Result<Option<Vec<u8>>, EngineError>

The objects as one version-2 pack in hash, leaving out every id git already holds. None when nothing is new.

Source§

impl NewObjects

Source

pub fn add_commit( &mut self, hash: HashKind, bytes: Vec<u8>, ) -> Result<ObjectId, EngineError>

Add a commit and answer its id.
