RestoreMarkerError

Enum RestoreMarkerError

pub enum RestoreMarkerError {
    Unreadable {
        path: PathBuf,
        source: Error,

    Corrupt {
        path: PathBuf,

}
Expand description

RESTORE_ANNOUNCED could not be trusted (stinky row 4, 2026-10-10): it used to be read with unwrap_or_default() and its head parsed with .ok().unwrap_or(0), so a marker that could not be read, or did not parse, meant “nothing announced” — and a restore could finish on a shorter head, as another log. Now the restore refuses by name and the box stays restoring.

Variants§

§

Unreadable

The marker is there and could not be read.

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The marker.

§source: Error

Why.

§

Corrupt

The marker does not say <head> [<log id>].

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The marker.

§what: &'static str

What is wrong with it.

§text: String

What it holds.
