One reference edit as the log records it: name, the value expected before (None = must not exist, Some("") = no claim), the value after (None = delete). Oids are hex; a symbolic target is ref:<name>.

Fields

name: String

Full ref name, or HEAD.

old: Option<Option<String>>

None = no claim about the previous value (a plain put_refs); Some(None) = must not have existed; Some(Some(oid)) = must have been oid.

new: Option<String>

None deletes.

peeled: Option<String>

Peeled target of an annotated tag, hex.

symref: Option<String>

Symbolic target, full ref name, when new is a symref.
