LayoutCx

Struct LayoutCx

Source
pub struct LayoutCx<'a, L> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

What a layout’s drawing is handed. Same as a page’s, plus the child.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<L> LayoutCx<'_, L>

Source

pub fn read<R>(&mut self) -> (Rc<R>, Dispatch)
where R: Reducer,

Source

pub fn binding<R>(&self) -> ReducerBinding<R>
where R: Reducer,

Source§

impl<L> LayoutCx<'_, L>

Source

pub fn ui(&mut self) -> &mut Ui

Source

pub fn navigate<R>(&self) -> NavigateHandle<Egui, R>
where R: RouteChain<Egui> + Clone + PartialEq + 'static,

A navigator over the route type the application runs.

Source

pub fn outlet(&self) -> Node

The next segment down the chain, for the layout to draw where it wants.

Handed over rather than drawn here: a layout takes its ui from this same context, so a method that drew the child would need the context twice at once.

Source

pub fn child_is<P: 'static>(&self) -> bool

Whether the segment directly below is P.

What a tab strip needs, and cheaper than it looks: the chain already says which page is mounted, so highlighting the current tab needs neither the route nor a copy of it in state.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl<L> Reads for LayoutCx<'_, L>

Source§

fn read<R>(&mut self) -> (Rc<R>, Dispatch)
where R: Reducer + PartialEq,

R as it is now, and what may be asked of the feature that owns it.
Source§

fn dispatch<R>(&self) -> Dispatch
where R: Reducer,

What may be asked of the feature that owns R, without reading it: the segment is not drawn again when R changes.

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

Source§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
Source§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
