What the pipeline does when a stage returns Err instead of a decision.

Set per stage with PipelineBuilder::stage_with_fail_mode. Stages added with PipelineBuilder::stage use FailMode::Open.

Variants

Open

Treat the error as Decision::Allow and keep evaluating later stages (fail-open). The default.

Closed

Stop and return Decision::Block with code STAGE_ERROR_CODE (fail-closed).
