One request’s client resolution: the identity the pipeline runs under and whether fail_secure rejects the request outright.

Fields

extraction: ClientIpExtraction

The extraction behind the identity (source, spoof flag, warnings).

ip: Option<IpAddr>

The identity as an address; None for the unknown identity (the pipeline then runs unattributed, the reference’s "unknown" run).

reject: bool

A peer-less request that resolves to unknown under fail_secure: answer 403 UNRESOLVABLE_CLIENT_ADDRESS_MESSAGE before any check (the reference handle_passthrough).
