Options for Repository::write_midx.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

bitmap: bool

Write a reachability .bitmap sidecar when the MIDX is a root file.

dry_run: bool

Report without writing multi-pack-index.

version: Option<u8>

On-disk MIDX version (1 or 2). None uses midx.version from the repository config, and v1 when that is unset, so every Git with multi-pack-index support can read the result.
