}Expand description
Why a short-circuit calculation could not be carried out.
Variants§
MixedFaultTypes
The faults in one calculation disagree about type or phase.
power-grid-model imposes the same restriction, and it is not arbitrary: the boundary conditions of different fault types rewrite the same matrix entries in incompatible ways, so “one of each, at once” is not a well-posed single linear system. Several faults of the same type, at the same or different buses, are fine.
UnknownFaultObject(u64)
A fault names a fault_object that is not a node in this document.
UnknownFaultType(i8)
UnknownFaultPhase(i8)
Singular
The assembled system has no unique solution. In the phase domain the usual cause is a network with no path to ground — see the module docs.
